THE PROGRAM
Jesse Maali Scholarship, Inc. is pleased to announce a new program available to college students of Arab descent. Each year, the Jesse Maali Scholarship will make a limited number of awards to qualified applicants. The awards of up to $3,000 each year are offered for full time study at any Florida accredited college or vocational school of the student’s choice.

 

ELIGIBILITY
High school senior or graduates who plan to enroll or students who are already enrolled in a full-time undergraduate course of study at a Florida accredited two or four year college, university, or vocational-technical school.

    Must be accepted as a resident through the school.
    Have a minimum of 3.0 un-weighted GPA.
    Be of Arabic descent (at least one parent).
    Must complete 20 hours of community service per semester, once scholarship is awarded.

AWARDS
Up to ten awards of up to $3,000 per year (maximum of $1,500 per semester) will be awarded to qualified applicants.
Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.
Awards are for undergraduate study only.

 

PAYMENT OF SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarship payments will be mailed to each recipient's home address in August and are made payable to the school for the student.

 

OBLIGATIONS
Recipients are required to supply Jesse Maali Scholarship, Inc. with complete transcripts when requested and notify Jesse Maali Scholarship, Inc. of any changes of address, school enrollment, or other relevant information.

 

REVISIONS
The Jesse Maali Scholarship, Inc. reserves the right to review the conditions and procedures of this scholarship program and to make changes at any time including termination of the program.
